These are called New England burgers because they call
for the onions the be simmered in Sam Adams beer
and are topped with Vermont white cheddar cheese.
I could not find the beer in my area so I subbed
Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo IPA which was supposed to be similar.
I also could not find Vermont white cheddar cheese
but still wanted something special so I used
Kerrygold Skellig Sweet Cheddar Cheese.
Despite all the changes, these burgers were still delicious!!!!
Who knew turkey burgers could be sooooo good!
When I make these next time I will skip all the running around
looking for the correct beer and use something I can buy at my usual store instead.
Served with a side salad.
