Famous Dave's is a great restaurant, the food is great and we leave very full. However, for a family of 6 the bill is a bit much to do on a regular basis. Big Girl and I love Famous Dave's Pulled Chicken Sandwich so when I came across a recipe that looked like it could be very similar I was very excited.
Tonight I made Pulled Chicken Sandwiches from my Cooking Light Annual Recipes 2007
cookbook. This recipe is also a Staff Favorite at Cooking Light Magazine
and quickly became our family favorite. There were NO leftovers!! I was the only one who added the pickles and coleslaw...just like Famous Dave's. Now if I can just master ribs.......

It's only 8:30 a.m., and I wish I could reach into my computer screen and grab that sandwich! I've heard of "pulled pork sandwiches" but never pulled chicken. I will check out the recipe. Nancy A.
