......this is what poison oak looks like this time of year. I did not know this when I went to Mt. Diablo last week. AVOID IT! Sure it looks pretty with those beautiful red leaves that capture the sun, the berries, the small flowers. Don't fall for it, keep away! Don't touch it, don't lean in closer to get that perfect picture, and for the love of all that is photogenic KEEP YOUR CAMERA STRAP OUT OF IT or you will get it all over you neck! (I am going to do everyone a favor and NOT post a picture of my wrists, arms, hand, or neck. I am also NOT going to post a picture of me scratching uncontrollably, however my kids can do an excellent impersonation of this.)
