52 Week Dessert Challenge, Week 1: Birthday Dessert
My daughter requested Skinny Fork's Cherry Pie Monkey Bread
for her birthday breakfast for the 2nd year in a row.
The recipe calls for light cherry pie filling (I used regular)
and refrigerated wheat biscuit dough (I used regular flakey biscuit dough)
so I am pretty sure my version wasn't all that 'skinny'.
It was absolutely delicious and was a great way to start off a day of birthday celebrating.
We also made Betty Crocker's Birthday Cake Cookies to enjoy after dinner.
