Mt. Diablo in the Morning

Recently I discovered a secret entrance to Mt. Diablo from Marsh Creek Road.  It is RIGHT THERE on the side of the road, I have driven past it a million times and never noticed it.  It was a beautiful morning today and I had my camera decked out with the new lens so I decided to check it out.  There was no sign of human life and the paths were overgrown.  Absolutely beautiful.  Here is a small sample of the shots I took.

    thanks for your comment on my bw wednesday photos. I saw the Mt. Diablo title and coincidence, my brother lived in Concord for a few years, stationed at Oakland Naval hospital, back in the 90s. Went to visit him a few times during those years, remembered passing signs for Mt. Diablo. Your macro photos are wonderful!
